Sanibel Hot Water Heater

Bringing 3500 back to dealer in two days to have my short punch list completed. Decided to winterize the unit due to the recent early cold spells we have experienced and the fact that our next trip will be south in Dec. After reviewing the technical manual for the Hot Water heater, I did not notice any mention of a sacrificial anode installed with the drain plug, as I am use to on my last unit. Is this anode located somewhere else on the heater or is there not one installed??

It's possible you could have an Atwood brand water heater. If you have an Atwood water heater, it doesn't need an anode due to the tank being aluminum.

Do you know which kind of water heater you currently have?
