I think they can do the flex fix job in 4-5 days (Lippert welder availability dependent), but they had my unit for almost 1 month due to a list of problems including a leak from the A/C allowing condensate to leak between the rafters and into the unit. This required removal and replacement of part of the ceiling, insulation and crown molding.

I don't have an answer for that one. You would expect this to be corrected, but only PT can answer that for sure. I did talk to the Lippert welder that was at the repair facility when I went there to pick my unit up and he stated that approximately 140-150 lbs of metal including aluminum sidewall structural pieces was installed.

We have a 2013 Sanibel 3400 that is suffering the same problem. Thanks to everyone that post their problems and the contacts at PT that help. My dealer told me the reason the putty was coming out was from temp changes. So glad I read the forums! My Warranty was up in June and I hope PT will help. I sent an email to Roger this morning and look forward to hearing from him next week regarding my frame flex.

This is not just a Sanibel problem its a Lippert frame problem going back over 15 years. Very bad front frame design on all their 5th wheel frames. I recently rebuilt my Lippert frame under my new to me 2006 Forest River All American Sport and have a thread on this site dedicated to it. I have been considering a new trailer and have checked out all the different builders and models I would consider and only 1 had a frame that I would buy and its a Ever Green Tesla but they do not have model that fits my needs so I will be turning my All American Sport into until I wish I could buy.

We just picked up our 2013 Sanibel from the frame flex issues. Looks awesome, Prime Time was very helpful, answered many of our questions, saw a few things that needed adjusting, lighting problem, slide repair, woozers, we were amaze and thank You PRIME TIME for a job well done. You have earned our respect in wanting and showing a terrific product out in the camping world, and when one comes back, you step up to the plate. Thank you from the Schillings in Wisconsin.

So this is still happening I take it. One would think PT would of corrected it ? Wondering what % of them go back for repairs ? Also How long are the repairs and does it require a visit to factory or dealer ? ...Ron
