I believe that the newer models of the Sanibel and the flex frame have been addressed and corrected. For those of you traveling to Elkhart, there is so much to see and do. You can pre-arrange a factory tour of the plants, visit the hundreds of RV dealers in the are, so much industry tied to the rv business. Unfortunately, my husband was the lucky recipient of this virus/cold/flu, so we did not spend much time, just overnight. We are only 5 hours away, and chose to pick it up. They would have delivered to our dealer, however, an early Easter celebration with extended family requires sleeping spaces for teenage nephews! Thank You, again, Prime Time. We are pleased and happy.

Has Prime Time stood behind all you on the warranty to fix the flex issue? Is it a permanent fix once the dealer fixes it?
Is this still an issue with the newer units?

There was no bill, we owe nothing, and it appears that should this happen again, Prime Time will stand by their work. I do not anticipate a "repeat performance", nor do we know if that should happen, that they would or would not stand behind their product. What I do know is that the workmanship was superb, their communications during the fix was constant, and then, when it was all done, did some other minor repairs that we were not expecting. They have a great name, and want their product to be superior, even after two years, so our speculation is yes, they will stand behind their repairs. I encourage you to keep the line of communication open with Prime Time. I did find out that the best communication is directly with the manufacturer, and not with your RV dealer. Please keep that in mind!! Good luck, you will be happy with all the service and respect given to you. Great at Customer Service.

Recreation specialist Elkhart Indiana awesome, We had issues with our 2015 Sanibel 3601. Not for frame flex. It was for slide issue. I gave them a grocery list..Had to have the front cap replaced, it took them 14 days. But we were very pleased. Unfortunately after heading back to Texas, we had several blown tires. Goodyear paid for the damage. We upgraded to G614 J ply tires. I Installed trailer fenders to prevent damage under the body. Hopefully this will help. And hopefully we won't have another issue with tires.😕. We are going back for the Frog rally to have some more repair done, then visiting family in Michigan. Hope to see you there. 😊

Sanibel Upper Frame Flex

Lipper welded our 2012 two times I think they got it right now. If I we in the market now I would look at buying the grand design solitude. The life stiles is another we'll build 5th wheel. By Evergreen.

What was the problem with the first fix? From what I heard, it took them a try or two to come up with the final fix that apparently is now working. At least for my unit.

Caulk was coming out of the seams in the front of rv. Repair was front flex, welded. Second time we went to dealer in IN. They contacted Lipper, and they re-welded the front end.

Well I spoke to soon. I hooked up to evacuate and because of this great forum, I knew what to look for. Left side is dropping about a inch. The wall near the slide is bowing. We are going to the Rally in August in Indiana. Hope we can get it repaired ASAP. Wish me luck 😭
