Schwintek Control Board Mounting Question

I have been getting more familiar with our new Lacrosse 327RES by locating the Schwintek Control Board and manual living room slide access. Our MB Slide is a Schwintek. I found the control board behind the UDC (access panel in the wardrobe). It's right below the water hoses from the UDC. I am a little worried about a water leak that would cause the board to short out. Has anyone relocated their control board to the side of the compartment versus on the floor?

Great info, I had not looked for mine, but I will now. Doesn't sound like we want it on the floor where water can get very easily if there is a problem with filling. I did not see an access panel in my unit. I will have to check again from within the closet. Thanks for the tip.

Mine was in the closet. Remove the four screws holding the left most closet floor panel. Lift it off and the UDC and control panel are visible.

Thanks again for spotting that controller being on the floor. It was very easy to relocate. The two screws that hold it down are only about 3/4" and you can reuse and attach the side wall. If water should leak in from a leaky hose now it wont short out the controller.

Angry Wiring

Why do they wire everything to look like a rats nest?
