We have a 2012 Prime Time Tracer 2670 with the slam latch doors. I have been having a problem with the rear compartment door leaking. After a heavy rain there will be about a 5-10" diameter puddle of water in the compartment. After crawling inside the compartment while my son hosed down the compartment door on the outside with a garden hose, I noticed the water "seeps" up from the lower part of the door itself (where the outside moulding on the door is attached to the door panel). It actually looks like it's coming from "inside" the door? Anyone ever experience a similar problem with these slam latch doors?

We had a 2013 tracer 2670 bhs. If I remember right there is holes in the bottom of the door frame to wick water by design, but it should wick out and not in. The door is adjustable by the latch on the door frame. Adding sealant to the door and door latch is fine , but dont seal the wick holes.
Is the frame on the bottom bent down and in so water runs in??
Well, I sort of bent over into the storage area, really couldn't get my whole body in there...lol! I did see the drain holes on the door and my door appears to be aligned correctly. The weird thing is that the water starts seeping from up from the bottom door trim surround, right above the weep hole, then spills over on to the seal and then into the storage area! Weep hole is not blocked. I'm wondering if something inside the door is blocking the weep hole that I cannot see? I was thinking of drilling a second weep hole as sort of an exploratory surgery and possibly to get the water to drain out of it.
I had a problem with water entering the front storage compartment of my Sanibel 3601. It turned out to be the seal under the latch that was leaking water under the latch down the outside wall and into the compartment. I removed the latch striker and filled the void with liquid electrical tape but silicone would also work. I removed each screw and dabbed sealer on each and replaced. This fixed my leak into the compartment no more water in compartment.
