Sleep Number Bed

We have a 327RES and the factory mattress is absolutely horrible. I would think the mattresses in a prison camp are better than these. Factory folks, if you are spending more than $4.00 on these you are getting ripped off. What a waste of time to put that thing in a nice trailer.

We have looked at several beds and wanted to see if anyone had replaced the factory krapo bed with a Sleep Number. They look like exactly what I am looking for but the price is pretty high. I would love some feedback?

We are also looking at several high quality foam pads and mattress pads. Camping world has one called Euro Top and Amazon has something called Cloud9 5.3 that also looks interesting. Has anyone had experience with these?

Thanks Everybody

Try: "BedinaBag.com" Have had one of their foam mattresses in our camper for 6 years now.

Kritter, We have the same camper, and we are also going to change the mattress. One thing to keep in mind, is that a standard queen sized mattress is 6" longer than the one that is currently in the camper. I am going add a 6" hingeable extension with some folding leg supports. This way when I retract the slide-out, I will just need to fold the extension up and hold the end of the mattress up so it rests on the dresser when in the stowed position.

We bought the Trump mattress FR was selling, much better than a Stock Serta or the topper on the Serta.

The mattresses are miserable. We purchased Cloud 9 3.3 foam (3 inch) pads for all the beds and it made a huge difference. Im guessing the 5.3 is just thicker.

A friend of ours just replace their mattress in their 2013 Open Range 5Th wheel with a sleep number and they are happy with it but of course they have a sleep number in their home as well, so why not put one in the RV.
