Slide isn't straight

We recently purchased a used 2014 Lacrosse 318BHS. This is our first travel trailer so the learning curve has been steep. Lots of searching a reading n this forum. My dining room slide has a slide lean when extending or retracting. pictures attached. Is this normal? Once it retracts all the way it levels itself out. one other question, the black plastic underneath the slide is wearing in one area as if its rubbing on something. Does the slide need adjusting or is this normal?

Thanks,
Colin

The slide coming out or going in at an angle is normal.
The wearing you are getting under the slide box is not. You can hold the lower seal under the slide open when fully extended to see what is scraping on the bottom. You might have a broken roller or even a tool left in there from the factory. Either way, that needs fixed.

Thansk all! I'll climb underneath tomorrow and take a peak. Another quick question. We purchased the camper from and individual and had the extended warranty transfered. It is the Xtra-Ride Platinum. Would this be covered under warranty and how difficult is Xtra-Ride to deal with?

Never heard of that warranty. 3rd party warranty, you will have to read the fine print or pay the hourly fee at the dealer. This scrape should / will be VERY obvious when you look behind the lower seal or under the carpet flap from the interior.
Odds are, this has been going on since new and "You" noticed it.
Keep us posted.

Several posters have talked good about xtraride warranty. They have several tiers of warranty coverage. Call them for preauthorization before service is performed. They have a deductible also.

That wear/rub is not jagged so, I would venture to guess that you have a roller that is not rolling or is jammed. This may require that the slide be partially removed to gain enough room to change out/unjam the roller.

It should be covered by your extended warranty but, as others have said, read the fine print & get pre-authorization
