Slide out breaking bench loose

We have a 27BBS Avenger and it has a problem. When the slideout is retracted and the last foot or so comes in, the slide raises up. The dining table bench is attached to the floor and wall of the slide. The back of the bench pulls away from the wall of the slide and thus pulls out the screws from the wall. When the slide is extended it comes back together. Do other slides raise up when retracted as this one does?

Do other slides raise up when retracted as this one does? Mine too.

What I think could be happening here is the floor in your slide flexes or bows down from the weight of couch and the table area. Thus pulling the bench away from the walls until the slide is in all way. Think you could be better off not having them screwed to the walls.

Actually, the seperation from the wall takes place when the slide is in. I did as you suggested and took all the screws from the back. The back cushion is attached serperately to the wall with velcro, so it stays in place and is ok. Thanks for the info!!!
