Ah ok wouldn't think the rollers would scrape up the slide but I guess I will have to see if I can see them without pulling the slide off it's track

That looks like a thick piece of plastic, it did not lift the slide too much to throw it off alignment?

I did just moved the slide out brackets down 1/4" (The slide is now 1/4" higher) from their original locations, which I marked beforehand..
Thanks,
Ken

How is your vinyl holding up? How did you secure them.

2018 FR 304BS. 3 trips, 12 nights and 5 of the 6 edges are showing wear. Stopped by dealer on way home from last trip...they said they could put some tape it. HA !!! Had also found a 2" cut it the wrap underneath the edge of slide that assemblers used about 20 staples to close. after and hour of digging out staples I discovered the cut was at least 12" wide. Some careful handling and contact cement and you can barely tell it's there.

Gorilla Glue makes a black duct tape, works well to cover it up

We installed the strips that were provided from the factory. Now the outer seal sweep that sits against the vertical side of the slide is ripping from the bottom about 6-8 inches. We ordered the replacement piece ($110 ) and was going to do it myself but then was told by the dealer when it came in the whole slide has to be removed to install it. I have no way to remove the entire slide. Now I noticed the opposing slide is ripping as well in the same spot. I did adjust the slide after installing the repair strips on the underside so it wasn't rubbing and wearing the carpet, but now I have this headache to deal with. Don't have all that much faith in my dealer to install new slide sweeps and adjust my slides without leaving me without further issues.

How did you mount the vinyl strip you made?

Did you have to lift the outside edge of the slide to get them installed or did you put them from the outer edge to the inner edge with the slide all the way out?

With the slide out, I used a bottle jack (with a piece of 2x4 to spread out the weight) to lift the slide a tiny bit. I slipped the end of the vinyl between plastic strip the slide rides on and the bottom of the slide.

Ok thanks I may have to do that but right now I have a temp fix in there on Kitchen slide, other side isn't bad yet but imagine over time I will need to do what you did
