slideout maintenance

2 Questions for those of you that complete your own maintenance....

1. What do you use for lubricating your slideout mechanisms and where do you apply the lubrication?
2. What do you apply to the seals to improve longevity?

1) I use a dry lube. Any of the commercially available ones will work just fine. You can get spray cans of the stuff at any auto parts store. With the slide fully extended, I crawl under the slide and spray everything I can see and reach.
2) I use ProtectAll on my slide seals. In fact I use it on all rubber gaskets for car.truck, and RV. Seems to work well and the seals are still soft and pliable.

See below. I have had good results with ProtectAll products, so why not use these too. I have included the CW links for reference, but you can find these products in other places.
