I have a 270ret Crusader with a 2010 F-150 crew cab super glide hitch ( 5.5 bed ). I have measured and feel I did not need a slide hitch. Infact, my truck is a lease and it is up this February. I have remove the slide hitch already and re-installed the bed liner back in it. I am considering selling my slide and buying a standard hitch. I donít like the feel, when you make a turn with the slide. It feels like the trailer is going to fall off the truck. It jerks you, and the truck, when you make a turn, as it slides back. Prime time told me that was the design intent of the nose, so you can use a short bed truck with a standard hitch. I to, will be watching this tread for feed back.
