Spring has sprung and so has the Lacrosse

Spring is here, the sun is out, so I decided to spring the ol Lacrosse from its short slumber! Time to let the tow pig breathe and slam diesel like a college kid at a homecoming party!

let the cool mods, trouble shooting, and fish tales of towing mpg begin!!

I was in Lubbock a couple of weeks ago - cannot believe the growth. I brought my new 1987 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up at a Chevy dealer on the corner of loop 289 and slide road - long gone along with the Albertsons across the street.

Geeze yes I remember that place...cant remember name.....that was a loong time ago..lol...

Yes the wheels in the pic are my aftermarkets....I put the stockers back on like in my avatar if im towing more than a couple hundred miles.....they get better milage and less noise than the nitto trail grapplers in the pic...cool factor goes down a notch or two....lol

Now to remember yhe name of that chevy dealer! Lol

Well that was one of them....but I think that one was downtown......the one im trying to think of started with an s I think? ..

You are correct - modern was somewhere by 50th street and universally I think.

Yeah....'technically' we have been spring like for a while now too.....but its official now...lol..only thing is its 40 in the am and 75 in the afternoon...so I have to either sleep in later or pull a lunch time clothes change...lol

I made a few calls...there was penny chevy and brunken back in the day...lol...and modern...brunken had a yota dealership too...

It wasn't Penny - Brucken sounds familiar.

In that spot there on slide there was a don crow, and later a brunken...the penny chevy was the name before modern of the downtown one.....I had to call my old transmisson guy and ask...lol
