stabilizers

How is everyone making their fifth wheels stable. I have a Crusader 325RES. I have noticed that it has more movement than my old TT. I have a kingpin tripod but I have not been able to use it since my first outing I was too low this weekend I was too high. Getting ready for 2 weeks at Table Rock Lake in MO, leaving the 1st. I have looked at the Rotochoks and I like them but not sure if they will work with the fenders? Just looking for what everyone else is useing, especially on Crusaders. Thanks Ron

I use Bal X chocks and homemade JT Strong arm type stabilizers in front and back also added 2 scissor jacks in front of the axles on the suspension frame.
Don't have any movement.

this topic has been covered many times....1 thing I will tell you to try (worked for me) is put some large blocks down under frt landing gear. I used PT 6x6 blocks, you want to keep as much of the landing gear up as poss. I just installed JT Strongarm braces on the frt too....the combination made a big diff.

I have BAL X-chocks between the tires, another set of scissor jacks in front of the axle, and BAL lock arms on the front landing gear. With all of that I am pretty happy compared to the movement we had before. I am looking to add a second set of BAL lock arms to the rear to lock it down a little.

rotochoks and Winfield stabilizers, and big blocks under the rear stab to keep them as horizontal as possible. Did it for me.

Helmsey, I was thinking of also adding another set of scissor jacks on rear. Did you actually attach them or just put them under each time you camp?

The ones I put just in front of the axle are not attached, they live in my basement until we setup. One of these days I will get around to bolting them up but it just hasn't been a huge priority as of now.

I use X-Chocks and Landing Gear braces in conjunction with the rear stabilizers.

Fine enough for us.

Herk: You more than a minion, don't sell yourself short. There is a little resemblance though.
