Tank dump valves

We are on the road with a new Crusader 334 and after a couple of days I went to dump the tanks and got soaked with grey water when I removed the cap. Both slide valves (Grey and black are closed) We have one galley sink, one wash basin, toilet and shower. The monitor says that the galley is holding water, the grey tank is empty and black is holding contents. When I pull the valve handle for the grey tank it releases the grey water from the galley. Am I missing a slide valve somewhere ? Are there 2 grey holding tanks ? Can anyone make sense of this I will calling the dealer after our trip but I think that I might be missing something. By the way this unit has an enclosed underbelly so following the piping is not easy.

on mine there are 2 grey tanks one black tank and one water tank. Each grey has a valve and on mine they dump in different places. It all depends on your trailer you need to specify which one you have so someone can help you.

Since specs list your black tank as 35 gallons and grey as 70 gallons, I would bet you have two 35 gallon grey tanks. Look for another valve.

Ttg, I have a 2015 294 and found this out the hard way as well. There is a 3rd valve that is not marked and is not inside the basement door with the other black and gray water handles. You will have to look up under the skirting to find the 3rd valve. I thought I had a clogged galley sink when it started backing up until I discovered the hidden valve for the galley. Nothing in the literature or PDI covered that valve.

If your Crusader is like mine your galley valve is probably open. Bend down and look underneath your rig, along the frame rail. There is a pull handle for your galley tank. It is sometimes hard to see unless you bend WAY down and look along the frame rail.

Thanks everyone. I took a look everywhere and find only one black valve and one grey valve. The galley valve seems to work fine. Its the shower and basin that I can't hold back. Until I get a fix, we make sure to get a sewer site each time, don't put any water into the shower or basin until we get hooked up. It only makes sense that there is a bathroom grey valve open somewhere but I can't find it. If anyone out there has a Crusader 334 you might have a location for this valve.

Did you try calling the manufacturer or shooting them an e-mail? Can't hurt.

If you are going to be out for a long time prior to getting this fixed, one of these would help the messy part of things. I keep one on (and many of us do) just as a safe guard. Fairly cheap to maintain sanitary conditions

Thanks David.
It happens that we passed an RV dealer today in our travels. I stopped in to see if they had anything like that because to me it makes a lot of sense. They hadn't heard of anything like that. Now I will have to search for one of those.
I don't think that we will be near a Camping World before we get home in Ontario, but I want one on my rig anyhow.

Bought one of those last week at a local RV shop after I could not get my black water tank valve closed. Could have been messy, but caught it before a disaster occurred.
