Temp Rubber roof repair...
So this summer I purchased my first TT even and have been very happy so far with it. It has a rubber roof so although I hope it never comes up, in the event of a roof leak would the liquid products (I.E. flex seal, etc) be an acceptable temporary fix?

Many people carry a small roll of Eternabond tape for emergency repairs to their rubber roof...they also sell patch kits.

Has anybody mentioned Eternabond yet?
It's the way to go, no doubt about it.

Would it make sense to apply self leveling caulk (Dicor) around the edges of the Eternabond for added reinforcement and deterrent to future leaks?

No need to seal around the edges with Dicor or anything else if the area is cleaned with acetone first.

Thats exactly how my dealer fixed a small hole in my roof. Thanks to the Il. dnr. for cutting a tree branch and dropping it on my roof.

Dicor Self Leveling for small tears and horizontal surfaces. Dicor Sealant for vertical seams and joint. Pro-Flex also makes good caulking products.
