Ok, so it's been quite a journey since we started this endeavor. We had our rockwood mini lite for about 6 months and after 3 camping trips we could see that we (me, wife and 16 month old) were going to quickly out grow it. At night the pack n play where the baby would sleep would take up all the floor space. So this weekend the local dealer was having a show. Figured we would just go "look". Well, you know how that goes. After 2 days of going back and forth we decided to go for the tracer 245 bhs touring edition. It's got the bunks and the dinette and lots of extras. The price was too good to pass up and I feel they offered me a fair price for our rockwood. I am realistic when it comes to depreciation and trade values.
Was hard going from something totally paid off to having a balance even if it was nothing out of pocket. But this really is a unit that my family can grow with. And I'm am a little worried about going from towing 22 feet to 26 1/2. I know, no brainier for some but for me a little concerning (a little encouragement here might help
So we are looking forward our new adventures with our new trailer. Comments and tips/tricks welcomed.
