Tilting the awning

We have a 2016 Sanibel 3701 Residential. The awning goes in and out just fine. The problem is it will not angle. It comes out flat and stays that way. There are some knobs that loosen and should let the shiny slotted bars slide into the other tube. The knobs are loose but nothing moves. Any ideas would be welcome.

Thanks for the video but my awning is stuck. No matter what you do the slotted piece that should go back into the tube piece won't budge. Like the two sections are jammed. If I pulled down any harder I am afraid something will break. I already knew how it is supposed to tilt but........Thanks anyway.

Get a ladder and look for an obstruction causing them not to slide.

Mine is the same as yours. It goes in and out fine but will not tilt like in the video. Mine is not nearly that floppy when extended as the one in the video.
