Clueless

Thanks for the info, I found them and they look like a good idea. Will have to look into installing them on my Silverado.

I installed some this fall. Very happy with the preformance-stops rear of truck from sagging, stopped the bounce on rough roads . What I really like about them is when I hook up the back of the truck only drops about 1.5 inches. Very easy to install. Free shipping to Canada!

Isn't that crazy. Priced set a local dealer here in southern Sask. Ended up buying from the hitch store online. Saved about 20%.

Are they like an air bag or are they solid rubber. If they are solid rubber do the make the ride harsh,I would think they must.

$180 at the local Bumper to Bumper. They had them in stock and we were hitting the road that weekend so didn't do much shopping around.

They're referred to as an air bag without the bag - they are not solid rubber. The ride is not harsh but they are designed to sit within an inch of the axle or bump pad and as such you can feel the contact when the TV is unloaded and you roll over a bump that deflects the axle sufficiently to make contact.

I see you have the same truck as I do.How difficult is it to install them and does it have any affect on your warranty?
