Almost all ST tires are made in China. If they are as bad as some people make them out to be then the highways would be littered with broken down trailers. I had the same fears four years ago (from reading RV forums) and decided to give my Duro 2100 radials a try first. I did just replace them last week after 9000 miles because I wanted to upgrade to a higher rating, but they served me well with no blowouts.

Powerkings on mine...3yrs 7800 miles to date no issues whatsoever.......tow at 65 evrytrip ....camper is stored covered/enclosed year round except for when in use...im sure that can only help the tires long run?.....

sent from fat fingers via a space dish thing with no regard to grammer.

Crusader Tires

My 2013 290RLT came new with 3 Towmax PowerKing tires and 1 Goodyear Marathon. I did not notice that 1 tire was a Goodyear tire until after about a month of ownership. When asking my dealer and Primetime why this would be they could only guess there was a tire failure while towing the unit out to Calif. Since the Goodyear was the exact same size of the other 3 I decided to leave it mounted.

After about 8,000 miles and a little over a year of ownership, I just had a tire separation on one of the Towmax tires. My TPMS alerted me so I was able to get off the road before major damage was caused to my rig. After taking the rig to Les Schwab for inspection they told me the other 2 Towmax tires also had separations but the Goodyear was fine. So all 3 of the Towmax tires had separated. I keep my tires inflated to 80PSI as recommended by Les Schwab which is also listed on the sidewall. My tires are also covered while in storage.
Towmax gave me a prorate on the tires. They only had 20% wear so they gave me 80% of what they value a new tire which is $120. So I got $96 for each tire. They value the tire at $120 even tho Les Schwab sells it for $170.
All 4 of my tires have been replaced with M8008 Maxis tires which are made in Thailand. It's too early to tell if these tires are going to be good but all the forums had good reviews on these tires.

My opinion is the China made Towmax tires are a piece of junk.
