Wait a minute. You can't install a ladder as an aftermarket addition? Our 2013 Salem 30kqbss doesn't have one, and we talked about having one installed. This isn't an option?

We cannot add one to our prime time trailers as they were not prepped from the factory to mount one....which may not be the same with your Salem....

Does it include recliners? Does anybody know where we can see a video of a new 290rlt touring edition? I'd like to buy one but like to see it first.

Have you considered one of these:

13' Multi-Task Ladder - ES-13T11G1 | Vulcan Multi-Task - Vulcan Ladder Company

It's on my shopping list now. Unfortunatley I didn't realize I needed a "trailer Ladder" when they were on sale at 70% off at my local Canadian Tire a couple of weeks ago ...

Where can I find the info on this touring edition? I can't find anything on the PT site.

Thanks DnD. Must have been right in front of me. Kind of wish I hadn't seen it now as there are a couple of those add ons that I would really like.

A ladder would be great as well as the upgraded fridge and tongue jack. I think the wife would kill me if I even talked about a trade in. Our 318bhs is three times the trailer we planned on buying.

Hilgy -

I know EXACTLY what you mean LOL. We started out looking at 23' TT's and ended up liking a TT that was too big for my 1/2 ton. So I bought a dually 1 ton. Then just before ordering the TT we found a fiver we really liked (Crusader 325 RES). Was about to order that and they release this new package. Now we are waiting for pics on the furniture before placing our order.

I am pretty sure that in 6 months PT will create some more upgrade packages and I'll be in the same position as you all...considering trading in a 1 year old or less trailer for the new one LOL

Oh well ... we want to get back to camping so badly that I will just have to take that chance ...

A slide awning for our 296bhs (largest slide around I believe) ran about $700 installed (IIRC). I pull the slide in and out all the time and I like that I don't have to worry about what's up there.

I like the idea of a ladder just to make life easier when checking my caulk, but I can do that with an everyday ladder in my driveway so I wouldn't want to pay for it.

My in laws have toppers, and we all HATE the annoying parachute flapping sound in the west tx wind......which is more frequent than not......and i would venture to believe it would be way cheaper to pay for a ladder from the manufacturer than to buy two fairly long toppers for my 318bhs......but to each their own...... it would have been nice to actually have that option...
