Anyone install another towel rack in their 325Res? With 4 of us one towel rack doesn't work. I have one that goes over the door, but I leave the door open most of the time for ease of entry in the short hall. Gets pretty tight with bedroom door shut. Not a good design. Any pics would be great. Thanks

I did this mod a couple of weeks ago.
The DW saw the basket idea in pintrest and wanted to incorporate it, but it could easily be removed for more towels.
The OE towel bar is mounted in a horizontal stud. For the lower double bar I used some short toggle bolts.
I also added (not pictured) a small hand towel ring to the right of the medicine cabinet.

Nice mod! I may have to try this in our camper. I am too scared to drill a hole in our camper walls so I may have to come up with a different mounting technique

We also mounted a hand towel loop to the right of the medicine cabinet. Our crusader never came with a towel bar so we have a over the door ate with two hooks and I mounted another behind the bedroom door. I think it was a robe hook but anyways had place for two more towels. I didn't want my bath towel hanging behind my toilet if you know what I mean. And obviously there is not another square inch of wall space for it so that's what we came up with. Works for now.
As long as you KNOW you are dealing with an interior wall that has some empty space inside of it, like for wiring and such, mounting an extra towel rack is just a few minutes work.
I put 2 more towel racks in the "toilet room" of our Rockwood 8280SS.
I bought 2 lightweight, inexpensive towel rods/racks from Home Depot. I had to cut the towel rod down a few inches using a hacksaw to get maximum 'rod' in my available space. I used the plastic screw anchors that came with the racks.
The instructions stated what size drill bit to use to make the anchor holes. I bought a bit that size while at Home Depot to make dad-gum sure I had the right size.
As long as you follow the instructions, take your time, and put the right sized hole in the right place you'll be fine. My 2 towel rod installation took less than 30 minutes, I needed a hacksaw (my rods were 4" too long) a cordless drill and a screwdriver.
You can do this.
This is the only pic I have. Sorry. This was, in our RV, the only place to put extra towel racks. One above the toilet and one facing. The fan will help dry damp towels. Holds 4 BIG towels.

This is the problem.... I am really a novice (and that is probably an overstatement) when it comes to rv's. The toilet in our 18' Micro Lite is smack in the middle of the back wall of the camper. The bathroom is tiny so behind the toilet would be a good (and pretty much the only) place. I have no earthly idea how these things are made and usually I have no problem digging in and finding things out but for the price of this "investment" (I guess a camper is an investment in fun and sanity) I am hesitant to do anything I might regret. I am slowly learning though....thanks mostly to this forum!
