Did you do anything to the truck to pull the C295? I have the same truck but worried about rear end squatting

No we haven't done anything to the truck and don't notice any squatting. Pin weight is only 1,278 on the 295, so it's relatively light. No slider hitch either. 👍🏼

I think you need to re-weigh your trailer. My 295RST loaded for camping is 10,500# with 2500# on the pin.

Holy shoot! You've added almost 2,000 pounds of "stuff" to your trailer!! What are you carrying with you? Gold bars?! Lol!! But seriously, what ARE you carrying that added a ton of cargo weight? Our rig weighed 8,777 shipped from the factory. We haven't added much of anything other than a few camping chairs & some kitchen necessities etc.

Have you actually weighed it? Even at 8777# the pin weight is probably over 1278#. My weights come from a trip to the CAT scales loaded for camping. We carry the usual camping stuff. The power cord itself probably weighs 50#! Full propane tanks another 60-70#. No gold bars!
