The large slide in our 2012 tracer 2800rld is acting up. It is the Accuslide type with 4 cables that operate it. Going out is no problem, But when you retract it is very reluctant at first. It initially doesn't move, the motors are turning but it doesn't. Then reluctantly it moves, but about half way in it starts making a grinding noise and stops. If you then pull on the sides from the inside while someone holds the retract button it will start too move again. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Bob Fears...RV guy if you read this your help is appreciated.

Here's a link to the Accuslide manual with a troubleshooting section that may help... http://www.primetimerv.com/download/...viceManual.pdf

I have that system on the wardrobe slide in the bedroom and followed the instructions to correct loose cables.

It's not unusual for the system to "groan" a little and start slowly as it starts up the ramp to come in, but certainly it's not normal for it to grind and stop halfway in. We'd be happy to help troubleshoot if you want to contact us: Prime Time Manufacturing, Manufacturers of travel trailers and fifth wheels Sorry for the issue and feel confident we'll get it fixed and running the right way for you.
