Tracer 3000 BHD going back again !!

Brought the trailer in last week because the tires were hitting the wheel wells, My dealer replaced the equilizers giving an additional 1" under the wheel wells! It raised three of the four wheels, but the wheel that had the most damage is still an 1 3/4" from wheel well the front wheel on same side is 3 1/2" from the wheel well, one good bump and the tire will hit! I'm thinking the trailer might be to heavy for suspension, maybe this is why this trailer was discontinued! This will be the fifth time the trailer is going back, like the trailers set up but having mixed feelings!

It sounds like it is time to involve the factory...5 times..maybe it should be taken back to the factory and fixed properly....put a heavier suspension off a Lacrosse on it or something. ...I would be very surprised if Prime Time does not do something to help you out. Have you talked to Brandon?

Hi,
Yes I've talked to Brandon and he's been great, he asked me to send pictures and he has the parts at the dealer when i bring my trailer there. I just sent more pictures, he thinks its the leaf springs and is sending a new one to dealer, there costumer service has been great and I do like my trailer set up! Hopefully this will solve the problem!!

Hang in there. I know what it's like to spend thousands of hard earned money on a trailer and then continually have to take it back for repairs. It does appear that Prime Time genuinely cares and wants to make sure everything is corrected properly. I'm betting they will get things fixed for you.

Good luck.

Talked with Brandon and sent some pictures of the suspension, he said it looks like the spring had flattened out and would send a new one to the dealer. Went on Tuesday and when the mechanic looked at the wheels they were both between 21/2 to 3" from the well. He said the new equalizer could have been to tight when installed not allowing it to pivot and the ride over here worked it in! Well I think its time to try it out!! Can't say enough about there costumer service, they do stand behind there product!

I'm hoping that was the problem ! After leaving the dealer rode around for about an 1 1/2 than checked wheel wells and everything was ok. I guess the big test will be the first trip this month! But I think everything will be fine!!
