Tracer 3150bhd keys

We just took delivery of our New TT on Saturday. We have 2 labeled G326 (for the bathroom door, 2 labeled G329 (for the main door) and 4 labeled HF315 for the baggage doors and outdoor kitchen. We were hoping to get additional G326 and 329 keys made. Do we need to order these from the dealer or Prime Time or could a hardware store make copies?

Didn't know the bathroom door has keys now.

The 3150BHD has an outside door to the bathroom.

Looked up the website for the keys and you can have them cut and shipped to you based on the number on the key. A little scary though cause you can order any key for any lock...

I just checked my RV keys since the HF315 sounded the same as ours but last digit is different. I was wondering how many other units are out there with the same key code. I do know that alot of the storage locks are coded the same.

Looks like they did it again. Mine are also the same for the baggage doors and outdoor kitchen. My other doors are different.

I have a Surveyor SV251 which has two entry doors like yours and was surprised to find they weren't keyed alike. My used trailer only came with one key per door and I'm a bit paranoid about losing keys (don't ask why, lol). I googled the maker FIC and saw that I was able to order keys and lock cylinders - I wondered if I could have the doors keyed alike and not have to carry around as many keys?

I noted the two key numbers and called the maker FIC and ordered two matching keys and two lock cylinders (one of which is a master...the kind the dealers access the trailers using a master key) from FIC for a very reasonable $4.50 plus shipping. It didn't matter which door I matched it to as long as it matched one of them. I then removed the two lock cylinders that didn't match and installed the matching cylinders. They say you need a special tool but a thin alley key does the job and voila, the exterior doors are keyed alike for less than ten bucks!

A word of warning though, if you want to do this, do it before you lose your keys as you won't be able to remove the lock cylinders with an alley key when they are in the locked position, only the unlocked position.
