Tripod Stabilizer question?

Just purchased a 2017 PT Spartan 3210. We have the B&W turnover ball/Anderson Ultimate II 5th wheel hitch set up. Being newbies as we have always towed a bumper pull ... do we need a tripod stabilizer AND do they really work. I measured 53" from level ground to top of ball. I have looked online at various mfrs (Ultra Fab, BAL, etc) Seems most only adjust to 48". Does anyone have any suggestions?

Pass on the tripod....if you want to stop the rocking then get the JT Strongarms and be done.

Most people will say the tripod isn't helpful. I use steadyfast.com and they work pretty well. JT strong arms are really popular. I think the steadfast are easier to use from my highly educated opinion due to my great skillz at looking at pictures online (e.g. my opinion may be worthless).

I should mention, with the steadyfast installed I have stopped bothering with the x-chocks. Maybe I'll try them again.

I use steadyFast, no chocks. 100 % satisfied. Writing this reminds me that I need to get rid of my tripod.

Drop the front jacks, pull the truck forward and press auto level.
