TV Help

Just purchased a 2012 Lacrosse 303RKS and it came with a Legend TV in living area. it has mounts in bedroom and outside. So I bought a samsung LCD for bedroom thinking I can move it around. The ounting brackets doesnt fit samsung and I want to use existing mounts as they are already screwed into side of camper and bedroom. Any idea what tv/brand will fit these mounts?? I beat the internet up trying to find a legend TV and came up empty.

Have you checked around for an adapter plate? If you have the hole spacing of the tv and the mount you may locate something.... maybe you can make one up yourself.

First Mike, to the forum and to the close family of PT owners and 303 RKS owners (myself, grhodes50, and tbrit are 303RKS owners on the forum). Now to answer you TV mounting question. All new LCD televisions come with what is called a "VESA" standard mounting pattern on the rear of the TV. It is in millimeters and are either 100mm X 100mm, 200mm X 100mm, 200mm X 200mm and even 400mm X 200mm on the larger sets. I contacted Brandon at Prime Time and told him which size I needed for my bedroom Tv and he had it at my door in 2 days. Then, the next thing you have to worry about is what size the bolts are to hold the mount onto the back of the Tv. Unless your set comes with extra hardware, you may have to make a trip to the hardware store to get some. Also, keep in mind that since most sets are assembled outside the US, the screws/bolts will more than likely be metric.

Think I am still confused the holes on the back of the new samsung I bought are 2.93 inches approx 75mm the bracket that came with tv is right at 100x100mm.

Gonna look for a tv with 100x100mm holes in back of tv.
