TV Mount

Does anyone have the ceiling TV bracket in the bedroom of the Lacrosse or Tracer? If so, do you like it? I was going to order one for my Tracer. Thanks, Coltsfan

I have it and my wife and I like it. You can easily control the viewing angle....in addition that tv is easily removed to go outside with it.....It also allowed my Lacrosse to have solid wood doors to the bedroom. I think it was a great idea.

Is or was there a sticker on the ceiling letting you know that a Tv mount could be installed there? If not, then there may not be proper backing in the ceiling to hold the weight.

I bought it used. No sticker, but the antenna jack and plug are in the ceiling over the bed. I will have to double check this. Thanks for the replys. This forum is great!

A little off topic but we have a tv mounted in a cabinet that can be viewed from the living area or spun around and viewed from the bedroom. The tv came installed in the trailer. My question is does anyone know how to take the tv out.I thought maybe it would lift up and pull out but this is not the case.

I think the ceiling mounts just came out recently so, if your TT is a few years old, the Tv was probably intended to be mounted on the wall just below the jack and plug. The walls on TT's are very thin and if you push on the wall in that area and it feels solid, then there is probably a backer behind the wall to attach the mount to.

Malco- we have tracer 3150bhd with same tv set up. Un plug it and lift straight up. It wiill slide off bracket and we can move to out side tv mount. ONLY THING IS... it is hard as heck to fish power cord back through behind stereo to get plugged back in! We just bought another tv for bunk area and move it to outside when we need it.
