Using water tank in cold weather

I want to use my 295RST to hunt this season and keep water in the tank until December 10th. What would be my best option keep the heat on 50 degrees until I'm done then drain and winterize?

Are you going to be able to have the unit plugged into shore power? If not, the furnace will not run once it drains the battery.

....I just read your post in another topic and saw that it's parked at a seasonal site. So, yes, as long as they don't shut down the power, setting the thermostat at 50 should suffice. Be ware though that the furnace will use a lot of propane depending on how cold it stays so, make sure your propane tanks are topped off & check them often.
