Final update on Lacrosse

This will be my final update on these problems as I just traded it in on a new Rockwood 8289WS 5th wheel. Our trip to Pittsburg camping was pleasantly uneventful and all slides and jacks worked fine. When I went to drop off camper at trade in day the front tongue jack started to act up and would not work in the up position only down, not my problem anymore. Good luck to all and happy camping.

The connections on the switch for the rear stabilizers seems to be a recurring problem. Mine quit twice and I reached under the skirt pushed and wiggled the switch and they began to work. Bad place for electrical connections because they get splashed with water and debrie when traveling

No, I was not too impressed with them. I emailed for a price and it took 3 weeks for them to email me back and then they still did not give price, just said it was sold.
I bought it used from City Auto in Claremont, NH. They were excellent from the time we stepped on the lot to the time we took delivery. This is my first fifth wheel and they installed the hitch and walked me through everything. The camper was only used one weekend and the previous owners traded it in because it was too small for them. There loss our gain. I have used it for 2 weekends so far and I am very impressed.

Another Camper not to Happy with Campersinn. I bought one through the Merrimack store. I've had my bad experiences with the service dept. The service writer told me that they are selling so many rv's that the service dept. cannot keep up with all the work orders from customers. I told the store manager if your going to sell them you better make sure you can service them. With the internet anybody can find out about anything today! Wish you good luck and great times with your new rv! I almost bought a Crusader and a Lacrosse from Cold Springs RV.

The stubby little screws they used just go into the foam that forms the stone look façade. No chance those would last very long.
I've got to say that Liberty RV has been trying. They installed the replacement tabletop and their work seems to be fine. The new tabletop, from Primetime, has the 'T' channel for the edge molding grooved off center so the molding doesn't cover all of the side particle board, but does stick up above the surface some (not consistent), such that 'stuff' would accumulate at the edge and playing cards won't slide off the table. I took it back (another trip) and they are going to contact Prime Time about it. I separately emailed Roger to let him know they'd be calling.

My prior trailer (Fleetwood Prowler Lynx 29BHS) was a 'Lite', but not 'Luxury Lite'. It truly was not appointed as nicely looking as this trailer, had thin cabinet doors, nothing extra, but also didn't have nearly the issues we're having with this 'Luxury Lite' trailer. I like the trailer, except when QA issues keep showing up. The list is long and I won't recommend PrimeTime to other shoppers at this point. I am still on year #1 and I really hope year #2 is better, or there probably won't be a year #3.

I too like the looks and features of our Lacrosse, however, there have been numerous issues with ours...in particular our outside kitchen door to the point where I don't even use it at present until I settle on a fix, so I am curious what if you don't mind telling me kind of mods you made to the struts on your outside kitchen? I too cannot recommend PT to other shoppers either, I am in year #2 now and hasn't gotten any better, maybe worse. I steered a buddy away from a Crusader 5er recently when he asked me what I thought. Not much at this point. I think my decals on the side of my trailer should say "Lacrosse Luxury Litely Constructed"Thanks.

We love our Lacrosse! We have had several minor problems and what I would consider one potentially big one. Fabric and tape use on the lower side of the slide-outs . Prime time is stepping up and looking for fix for that problem. Its posted on another thread under prime time.
I think any unit can have issues , we just have to work them out.
Thank God my chevy truck is rock solid!!!

First off, reversed the door on the fridge (made no sense to open from the left). It was only lightly screwed in to the inside wall on the left (felt very loose) and mounted too low, so the door didn't open enough for the fridge door to barely clear, and at 6' 1", was just too low for me. I adjusted the mount points of the left strut both on the door and inside to stiffen up the mounting. Had to remove the fridge to get to the inside mounting, no fun at all (screws from the bottom, so the drawer had to come out first). On the right, just moved the mounting on the side wall enough to keep the door opening level, since the left-hand side was opening further now. Still has minimal slope away from the trailer, but not much.
