Does he own the business? Or is he an employee?
DH and I even tipped our PDI guy. Tips are the lube that makes service relationships go smoothly.
Also tipped the security guy once, at our warranty service center. He lives on-site and due to a traffic jamming wreck on the interstate we arrived after closing. He had to leave what is his *home* and come open the gates for us. He didn't speak English well, didn't want to take the tip, but certainly understood when Sneak said: here, go buy some beer for the weekend.
Grinned from ear to ear and accepted the tip!
I'd tip 'im anyway, if he does good work.
