Water Heater Woes

We have a 2013 Crusader 325RES 5th wheel. We have had it since June 30th. Our water heater has been working beautifully until last night. We had no hot water. We have it on electric mode only as it provides enough hot water for our needs. Sometimes we will put it on propane prior to multiple showers. We turned the electric button off overnight. This morning, we turned the electric button to the water heater on, but it did not seem to do anything. Finally turned on the propane button, waited a bit and then had hot water. We checked the 2amp fuse on the circuit board outside--it is fine. Checked fuses in the converter box inside--all ok. My DH said he heard a "hum" outside at the circuit board when I turned the electric button on again. We waited for quite a while and tried the hot water--nope! Had to turn the propane button on again to do dishes. HELP!

Fuses or circuit breaker? The electric hotwater heater is controlled by a circuit breaker not a fuse....Did you check that?

Times 2.

Reset it anyway. It may "look" good and still be tripped.

We did check the circuit breaker--turned it off and then back on again. Also, there is a 2 amp fuse in the circuit board outside--not sure what it is for, but DH checked it and it is good. I am thinking Papap is probably right and it is the heating element in the tank. Not sure how to get to it and we don't really want to mess with it--back to service it goes!
So many problems, so little time!

Where would the reset button be? There is a red rectangle button (light) on the control panel (with the elec/gas buttons for the water heater. DH pushed on it some and it went in a bit, but wouldn't come back out again and we have never seen it light up.
