Water leaks from latch on outdoor kitchen

We have a Primetime Tracer 3150 with outdoor kitchen, less than a yr. old. I opened the outdoor kitchen door today and water came out from the bottom of one of the latches. The outdoor kitchen door has been been sealed up tight and not opened recently. Should water be able to collect in the latch when the door is closed?

Is it coming from in the door? Suspect it is, I've had it happen in my last unit. Water drizzle from above, finds an open seam and begins to collect in the door. When opened it shifts position and starts to slowly drain out again. Not a good situ, it will deterioate the inside of the door. Is it still under waranty? I wouldn't let it go. So I guess the answer to your question is No, water should not collect anywhere.
