WD question

Getting ready for our 2nd trip in news tt
And noticed that one side of the WD braces on trailer is 21 1/2" from tongue and the other brace is 22 3/4" away from tongue. The shorter side is butted against sway bar ball so my ? Which side is correct? The dealer installed

The chain should be straight up and down when the tow vehicle and trailer are in a straight line. Hope that answers your question.

Yes it does thank you.
I also had to tighten the bolt that holds the bracket that the chain goes on , how come they don't bolt these on the the little ball bracket for the sway bar? Can I screw it down?
