Roger from Primetime called me today to say his engineer stated the Crusader 290RLT can handle a 50 pound generator in the front compartment with no problem. I didn't ask him about any other model but you would think that all the Crusaders have the same front compartment.
How can you tell if our Crusader 270RET is prepped for a gen set. The one we have seems a little heavier than most, would love to stick ours in there rather than in the open truck bed..thanks

I carry 2-2000 Honda's and 2- 12v batterys in the front bay of my 325 RES Crusader. As to actual weight capacity I don't know, so you might want to inquire of Prime Time. Also, I'm assuming you have seen the above post. Not the exact answer, but it might give you an idea based on their number and the approx. weight you'll be carrying.
