Well, heater issues continue so back to the shop she goes.....I fired up the heater last Saturday night right before bed. The fan kicked on and I heard what sounded like something caught in the fan for about 2 seconds. The burner would not ignite and it shut down. I tried one more time and same thing.

I am quite certain this is my fault, I am thinking a piece of my elec tape got sucked into the unit. I am not comfortable messing with gas units so I will let the shop sort this one out.....BTW, it was 42 in the trailer the next morning! Ouch!

That's why a couple of electric heaters are good to have.......unless your dry camping.

We were running on just one of my Honda 2000's and we had a small 1500w electric heater that could be run at half power.....I wouldn't plug it in because I have never tested it with the wiring in the trailer....I have read too many dooms day posts on the dang internets and would have been worried all night.

What would your concern about the wiring in the trailer be? The wiring in modern day RV's is residential grade. The only limiting factor would be the capabilities of your single or dual Honda's. One Honda 2000 should be able to handle your heater.

My concern would be overheating outlets/wiring. But that is based on my internet searches, not on my actual knowledge of electricity.
