As of about noon today we will be joining the club. Little nervous about going up to a fifth wheel, but way more excited about the new second home. Cant wait

Congrats on your new 5th wheel.
Welcome to the forum.
Make sure to print the PDI checklist and take your time going over everything.
Enjoy!

Congrats on the new 5er. I just moved up to a fifth wheel in August and love it. Follows so much better behind the truck. I had my old system down and knew exactly what to do to hookup and now have to get used to a new system but overall it is easier hookup. Enjoy the new rig.

I have the fuzzies too. My wife and I bought our 3rd rv (pun.it's our first) first. We took the advice of others and got what we needed first. I am pleased so far.
Good luck and enjoy!!

Thanks everyone, we made it home in once piece. It was really different, I could actually tell there was a trailer back there this time lol. it will take some practice, but all and all it was a fairly nice ride home. I was taking corners too wide, and parking it was a pain. seeing the smile on my wife's face mad it worth while though.

What model did you buy? You will get use to corners and parking. If I have the room I always take the corners a little wider, why hit a curb. Pretty soon it will all be second nature to you, glad your wife is smiling hope you are to..........most of all.....

O yes, big smiles all around. Christmas came early this year that is for sure. We got a crusader 334ckt. I had modified my profile yesterday morning, I'm unsure why it is not showing on my posts.

yep practice, practice. going to the mall parking lot next weekend before they open so I can get a better feel for it, get the brake controller fine tuned for the new trailer.
