We've decided for sure.
After looking and looking we've decided on the Tracer 3150BHD. It's as big as we could hope for and exactly what we want in a floor plan. We'll wait till spring to make the leap and we can't wait.

We bought ours at the end of the summer and have used it only twice. I am sure you will love it. The bunkhouse is great, as is the outside kitchen and the second door to the bathroom. The only downside at the moment is the length. I knew going in it was going to be big but it's REALLY big. Be sure you pre-plan your gas stops/have an exit strategy for everything you drive into.

Congrats. You will really enjoy the outdoor kitchen. Happy trails next year.
FYI, I would ask you to look at the tongue/tow capacities of your Tacoma and hitch if that will be your tow vehicle. Your Tracer is heavy at 706 tongue and 6955 dry weight.

I have a 2011 Tundra. I've talked to several Toyota service techs. They agree it'll be no issue. I can tow 8200lbs with a tongue weight of up to 1000lbs. I tow a 31' boat trailer now and I drive firetrucks for a living. Big doesn't bother me. I also have Firestone Ride Rite airbags on the way to help with the spring sag.

You'll like that floorplan and plenty of sleeping accomodations...we took delivery of a Salem Hemisphere 346 QBUD the 3rd of July and love it, similar floorplan but 40' fifth wheel with 1/2 bath from outside and full bath up front. We love it and can't wait to pull out again next spring, right now it is winterized, although it is a nice 70 + degrees outside today. Six more years then I retire and can travel anytime I want.

Sorry, long day. Thought I saw Tacoma earlier in your signature. Tundra is no issue for that rig. Heck, one even pulled the space shuttle 
Enjoy. Your floor plan is a really nice one.
Waiting till the next trip is the hardest part....

Ok so here’s my dilemma, the Tracer 3150BHD is our dream trailer. I found a good deal on it with a military discount and such. The dealer is less than 2 hours from home. They have a less than spotless sales reputation but I can hold my own on that end, but they have a VERY BAD reputation for service work and especially warranty work.
The next closest dealer is 6 hours away and $6000+ more expensive which would put it out of our price range. Does warranty work HAVE to be done at a Forest River dealer or can any RV service center do it?
RVGuy? You out there?

I hope you aren't basing the price on the dealers listed price. I went back and forth with my dealer 3 or 4 times before I ended up with a final price of $14k less than MSRP and $10k less than their original posted "sale" price.
I had the choice of 2 dealers, 1 that was 30 mins away and another that was 2 hours. I went with the dealer that was 2 hours away because of their stellar customer service record where as the closer dealer didn't have a good record.
