We pull our Lacrosse with our grocey wagon !
Yes, we do not tow much, just to Florida every winter (6000 miles) and a couple of trips in the summer, less than 10,000 miles per year.
Therefore, we tow with our 10 month of the year "pick up the groceries" truck, a Ford F-150 Eco-Boast - Max Tow - Max payload. We meet all towing regulation numbers, even rear axle weight, specified by Ford and verified on a CAT scale.
Safety wise, we do not control sway, we ELIMINATE sway with our Hensley hitch making sure our drive with our Lacrosse is never a white knuckle experience. We also replaced the Prime Time "China bombs" with Maxxis E-range tires.
The Lacrosse is a very comfortable trailer, after many small convenience modifications we will have a hard time parting with it when trade time comes around.
