What upgrades/additions did you make?

Our new 2012 Crusader 260RLD is indeed impressive. After enjoying five years in our 24' Kodiak TT we decided it was time to move on.
I was wondering what "improvements" you have made to your fifth wheel?
The April-May issue of Highways had an article on surge protectors. I have never had one. What do you suggest? Portable or hardwired? The 50amp #18541 would be almost $500 installed.
What level do you recommend?
We will be at Gulf State Park Alabama November and December. Stop by and say hello. Thanks for you response.

I have Lacrosse by prime Time. I bought the hardwire version from progressive is great and I installed it easily myself. Was under 300 bucks where I got it but prices vary. It has a remote display that tells the current voltage and amp draw...along with any problems. It worked just last weekend. I plugged into a site with an open wouldn't power my rig...was nice..also has a bypass switch just in case u absolutely need power and want to by pass protection...I did quite a lot of research and this seemed the most featured for the money.
I lost an air conditioner years ago on my Montana fifth wheel to a power surge. For the money it is a wise investment ...
