Good luck with the ins. and the remedy!
Not really it happend so fast and with the rain and storms we went into a recovery mode water was pourning in and I had to clean and bend the slide fairing at the to back out so the slide would shut. once we got the slide all the way in the water stopped. we use everything dry to soak up the water, sometime later did the WORDS start to flow

Now State Farm wants me to take it back to the repair place and run the estimate again with one of there people there also....says there's a few items that are questionable. The guy showed up with no ladder to check roof damage...go figure?? This is day 56 after the damage and I'm back to day one...#$@*

I'm sorry to hear this as it must be disappointing not to be more forward. Hopefully State Farm has share with you the "questionable items". Really - no ladder to check roof damage??

Man, if they total it out, do they have a buyback option? I can't imagine 14k...

I had a tree take half the roof off my garage last year. That wasn't even 2.5k including labor and tree removal. And that was a lot of tree.

This one little tree cost the ins. co over $180,000. Ended up leveling it to the slab and started all over.

I hope nobody got hurt...

Which reminds me, I need to get a lift back out her and finish what I started last winter. I topped or cut down 11 trees in 48 hours, I still have 4 trees left, and they will be the hardest and most dangerous to get...

Wife & I were in it when it fell and neither got even a scratch. It happened like slow motion, heard glass breaking and it was over.
