I'm not surprised.
In '08 my Salem aluminum sided tt received hail damage on the front and curb side. it cost a little over $7,200 to repair.
My insurance company first sent an adjuster out to my house to look at it. He handed me a check for something like $3,800. As far as I know there wasn't any problem when the repair shop turned in their estimate. All I do know, it was fixed and my only out of pocket expense was my insurance deductable.
I still won't be surprised if your tt ends up totaled.

Totaled is what most people around here is calling too, but Gary you know how we both loved the Lacross and you have to do that when your in these things 24/7. If it comes to that it's 5er time somehow, but we'll just have to wait and see, it's day 2 after the ins.co. got the est.

Were you inside when it happened? There must have been some very short and very loud words spoken after that

Good luck with the ins. and the remedy!

I wonder if you could have repairs done at the PT's Factory?
This may be another area where PT could surpass the rest of the industry in customer service. I can't imagine that the factory could not do it cheaper and better. 14,000 is alot of money. When you figure that PT can probably make that entire trailer for under 20,000 counting all the components, like cabinets, wiring, furniture, suspension, frame, etc.......I propose that PT considers offering a rebuild service for instances like this....what do you think? Even adding shipping or transportation costs would be cheaper and better in most instances.
