If a new trailer do the repack NOW and put in good seals. Then every year or 2 depending on miles you put on it.

I have the bearings checked yearly by my trusted service dealer and he tells me if they need repacking. We probably run about 5 - 10,000 miles per year.

Bearing Service

A friend who has owned his own Mobile RV repair business for over 25 years says to repack the bearings every 2 years or 10,000 miles. Which ever comes first. On a new 5th wheel do them right away because many times new ones have very little grease.
