Our slide has rollers, and the edges are still fraying. The rollers aren't the problem though. It's the material they wrapped the edges with.

Well I might have to add an Avenger to this --- Went to pick the camper from the dealer after getting the slide gaskets resealed & checked underneath --- found that the street side tires had been rubbing against the material leaving exposed wood
Not sure what to do at this time - left the camper at the dealers for now

Sgt. Schultz I had same problem with my tracer, prime time replaced my springs and equalizers they said the springs went flat? I had about an inch clearance between tires and wheel well, this raised the trailer up about 1/2 inch, still get rub marks but not as bad, but now my tires wear really bad, axles must be really out of alignment, dealer wanted $ 700.00 to align, contacted prime time they basiclally said its my problem would not help, be sure you get it fixed before warranty is up or you will be stuck like me! Good luck!

Ready to camp we are ~ 300 lbs under the sticker max GVW it is empty at the dealers so ~ 600 lbs under right now.

WJC the unit is new - so yes this will need to be remedied under warranty!

Well repairs to my camper remains in warranty wonder land -- PTM and Dexter -- dealer believes at least one set of springs may be flat & it appears to be the only one with springs under the axles vs the others we looked at which have the springs over the axles
-- but on a happier note response to this poll suggests that not a lot of people are having issues with the underside of the slides vs. the number of PTM members here.

Dinnett Slide

While at Goshen, the factory tech's came out and repaired this particular slide. So well in fact, it now closes almost completely flat against the coach siding. The only thing stopping from actually fitting flat all the way around is the horizontal molding that runs down the side. If the molding stopped right before the awning side, it would fit perfectly. I am planning on trimming that molding back to allow the slide to fit correctly even more.
