Winter Use

How many people use their Crusader during the winter in snowing states? What tips do you have to do or things to avoid?

Absolutely. We are huge winter campers. Have camped down to as low as Minus 20C without issue. We use our water system year round.

I have added tank heaters to help with freezing.

There are loads of tips and tricks.

How cold are you looking to go? How about snow depth?

MN/WI winters have been known to hit -15 to -20 regularly, probably won't use it much below 0f. We did winterize the trailer and don't plan on using the water system.

We would only use it once a month with heat shutoff when we are not there.

I hear some people use dehumidifiers in the winter, not sure how effective that would be.

Snow can get up to 3ft but I would probably brush it off if it gets more than a foot.

We did use it last weekend and noticed a lot of ice buildup down the sides from melted snow, not sure how big of an issue that will become.
