Winterizing residential refrigerator

I have a 2014 Sanibel 3551 and was wanting to know what to put in the residential refrigerator to control moisture while in storage.

Best to just leave doors open.

My kitchen slide comes in against island so I can not open doors when slide is in. I'm not going to leave the slide out during the winter months. Would a box of baking soda work?

They don't have to be open much. My slide comes in so that the fridge almost touches the island but I can open the doors just a crack. Enough to let air in. I can't imagine it being so tight against the island otherwise you would get wear on the fascia.

I've done the same thing....leaving the doors slightly ajar. I also placed a small box of backing soda in each the fridge and freezer areas of the refrigerator.
