This thread is strangely silent. I hope we haven't lost our momentum with this shuffle. Maybe we all need to get out and promote this get together around our local dealers. Perhaps Forest River could do likewise. Old Guys

I think it will get alot more active after the holidays. This is pretty far in advance for most people to plan for Aug of next year IMO. I am pretty sure it will get some big numbers of participants but it will just take abit of time. Also have to consider people need to caculate the costs and get the CFO's budget approval (for us it will cost 5 - 6k by the time we get home as we are going to make it a 3 week deal as it is over 2000km one way so it 3 days to get there. On the plus side it will be nice to get back down to the land of cheap fuel.

We've been getting reservations in all throughout last week, but we do need to publicize as much as possible. Given that the rally is still ten months away, and that people need to set their vacation schedules, I'm pleased with the response so far. I fully expect that we are going to have a great turnout.

We're getting excellent support from Forest River, from top to bottom, and will be having an outstanding event.

On Friday I submitted what I think will be the last few cosmetic changes before the website goes live. The site will be dynamic, with frequent updates, so you'll want to go there on a regular basis. We'll be announcing the website on the forum, and doing an e-mail to our dealers to announce the website and promote the rally. We'll also be doing promotions with the dealers at the RVIA show in Louisville in December.

There will also be some mass mailings going out in order to try to reach some of the folks who are not on the forum, and to get them involved with FROG.

More to come. Soon.

I am planning on going but it will be a couple months before we can send in the registration form with payment.

What is the date for the rally? Do you ever have one on the west coast?

Check out post #1 for dates. As far as In know, there is nothing planned for the left coast at this time.

The first event that we've been working on is the International Rally in Goshen, IN from August 13-17. We're planning on four nights of camping (options for early arrival and/or late departure), three dinners, four breakfasts, factory tours, tech seminars, RV display, and more.

We're also looking at a couple of trips/rallies in other parts of the country, and are working on arrangements for those as we speak.

You'll find more information about the International Rally, and a link to a registration form, in the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Any suggestions for a west coast location?

Hello Bob,

I noticed on the Elkhart County Fairground website that wifi is available.
I’m not sure if I missed this on the old thread but will we have access to the wifi during our rally?
If so, will there be a fee?
Unfortunately I am tethered to the office 24/7 or I’d never be able to afford all my toys.
