No sooner had we gotten into our site than Bud and Bev Parnell stopped by to greet us. One of the best parts of this job is getting to meet wonderful folks, and it was nice to see them again. They seem as excited as we are to be back.

Adrienne Cooper is organizing an Easter Sunday potluck dinner for those who are in camp by Sunday evening, so some of the camaraderie will begin early. Thanks so much to Adrienne for putting that together. I spoke with her last night, and she couldn’t wait to get here.

Today Cindy and I are going to be doing some last minute setup and checking on a few final arrangements. There will be some extra sightseeing opportunities for the early arrivers. The temperature is almost short-sleeve warm, the sky is bright blue with a few puffy clouds, and the wind is calm. Hang on, cherry blossoms, hang on!

Welcome to Maryland!! I hope everyone has a good time this week. Temperatures are to drop a bit as the week begins but you evidently have a lot of activities planned. Interesting is that I live about 2 hours from Cherry Hill Campground and have never been there. Again enjoy and looking forward in meeting everyone at the Rally in Goshen in August.

Parked tonight in Kosmo Village Campground, Glen Allen, VA. Should be checking in at Cherry Hill around noon. Please keep the rain away until I get hooked up.

Arrived around-----------

Arrived around 2PM, brought the rain with us from southern North Carolina.
Bob has promised it will stop this afternoon.

Getting ready for the POT LUCK dinner, DW has been busy since we arrived preparing the dish for our contribution to all our friends.

Sure going to miss all that will not be attending the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Happy Easter to All.

Looked for AGIEWAGON's HW cover-------------

Agiewagon informed me through a email that his hot water tank cover was missing on the trip from Florida to DC. Well I looked all up and down I-95, parking lots ETC for the cover. Had no luck, even looked in the parking lot of J--R outlet parking lot, found a 1954 Ford hub cap that maybe it world do temporally????? Oh well, I guess not!!!!

Weather has cleared as Bob promised, great for IKEA & DW.

Great pot luck dinner, so much food. Thanks for all that contributed, Great food, UHM, UHM!!

We were in the site next to this one last year, and it faces the opposite direction. This site was closed because the CG staff was installing the rail where we have the banners hanging. There's about a four-foot drop to a storm drain just beyond the rail.

Have a great time in CT!

BRRRRRRRRRRRRR-it's cold here------------

As I write this, the temp is hovering around 29°. Heating system has been running a lot. Lot's of RVs in the RV park besides the cold. The park has a propane truck that comes around to your site to fill your tanks during the day after you pay at the office. Neat!

Did some damage to my wallet at the IKEA store yesterday, lots of got to have stuff!! Well, today is another story.

More of the FROGS are showing up for the good times as the day passed. One of the FROGS said it took 5 1/2 hrs to travel 78 miles on the beltway.
Takes a lot of traffic to feed the GOVERNMENT GORILLA in DC I guess.

While I was doing the final prep to leave this morning, it started flurrying. I hope it's warmer down there!
We are on our way- you have been warned!

Right now I think we're all soaking our tired dogs in Epsom salts.
