I beg to differ, anyone who hasn't had cow's milk straight from the "udder", I hope this is appropriate and doesn't offend, is missing out. Having been a farm boy, most of my life, having fresh cow's milk is a true treat! If my use of correct language offended, I apologize.

The whole issue might just resolve itself. We might have two cows. Pete might want to put on a steak dinner.

I love it when things come together and create happy endings!

Just had a big "To Do" at Easter dinner when my brother in law and brother went at it over the definition of "RAW" milk and whether it needed to be treated to sell.

The "crux" of the battle was definitions (as always).

One said that RAW milk could not be sold without heat treatment.

The other thought that meant "Pasteurization" which is not required for RAW milk. He also thought that "Not Pasteurized" meant not treated in any way and was "right from the cow".

The worst fights possible come from two people both being right (and wrong) and not communicating.

In PA, raw milk needs to be "heat treated" but "not Pasteurized" in order to be sold.

I like Tim grew up on a farm and we drank milk from the cow.
"Still living"
My comment from Tims statement was as genuine as his.

Loved to go to my grandpa's and have him squirt milk in my mouth from either of his 2 cows. He had a separator and brought us whole milk and just the cream. Loved the whole cream on peach or apple cobbler.

Don't worry, Herk, it's going to turn out that this bunch talks a great game but is going to be calm and well-behaved.

(Oh, my, how I hope I'm even CLOSE to being right!)
