2013 Goshen Pictures
Bob came up with a good idea of posting your pics from Goshen on a single thread. I'll start! (in my next post, pics are on phone)
HERK EDIT -
Great idea, but to just limit it to photos! When comments get added the photos get lost.

Volunteers at the RV check-in. Everyone was guided to their site by two FROGs in a golf cart.
The table setting as we arrived for Monday night's WOW dinner.
The main entree' at the WOW dinner. The meat was Buffalo steak, my favorite red meat, and it was tender and delicious. I understand some of the Phat Phrog crew were ignored during this service.
Some of the FROGs were lucky enough to be assigned to the infield of the race track. It is my understanding that this was the one place at the fairgrounds where train noise was negligible.
Heads up for next year, be sure to bring plenty of sewer hose with you.

We paid to do the Boats, Bites, and Bolts tour in Goshen. Apparently a lot of people signed up for this tour as it took two tour buses to accommodate everyone. Our bus driver wasn’t quite sure where the dock was and we found ourselves circling a parking lot with the other bus like a wagon train under attack. He had to call to find out where the heck the boat was and where to park. Interestingly it was right next to the Frog Tavern.
Buses coming into the Fairgrounds to pick us up.
Our boat was the S.S. Lillypad II and cruised on Lake Wawasee. Soft drinks were free on board the ship and alcohol was available for purchase. We had a perfect day for cruising the lake and I think everyone enjoyed it.
I took this photo during the cruise. This is just something you don't see on Missouri lakes, at least I haven't.
After the cruise our tour bus took us to Das Essenhaus where we enjoyed a two meat, all you can eat, Amish style family dinner. The food was excellent.
FROGs feast at Das Essenhaus.
After the meal we enjoyed the Bolts part of the tour in the form of a car show on the grounds of the Essenhaus. There were a lot of antique and classic cars on display. It’s funny, I hadn't seen a Crosley for decades and now with in the last month I’ve seen two. I was given a ride in one still under restoration while we were camping at Rend Lake and now a beautifully restored one at the car show.
This Crosley was a diesel. Notice the kickstand under the driver's door.

After our dinner on the final night of the rally the winners of the RV Lifestyle photo contest were announced. One of the photos I submitted took 3rd place, good for a $500 fuel card. WOOHOO!!!!
Here's my 3rd place winner.
After dinner we were entertained with an outdoor concert by the Party Boat band. This was the same band that entertained us at last year’s rally. Great tunes and fun times. I’m looking forward to next year.
